While we are working on some things behind the scenes around here, I wanted to take a chance to briefly go over some recently watched DVDs and share my thoughts:
1) Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle has to be one of the funniest stoner movies of all time. The film may be over the top sometimes, but the cameos alone will make you laugh days later. Make sure you get the unrated DVD.
2) Eurotrip is yet another very funny stoner flicks. The song "Scotty Doesn't Know" will be stuck on your brain for months.
3) The Grudge was a very good DVD to check out. The movie iteself gets intense and the DVD looks and sounds great. Bill Pullman is crazy.
4) Garden State with Natalie Portman and Zach Braff was a real treat to watch. Braff who directed the flick is from "Scrubs" on TV.
5) King Arthur: Director's Cut was a complete waste of time. Boring.
There are some exciting DVDs coming out including Star Wars: Clone Wars - Volume 1 (animated), Donnie Darko: Director's Cut, and many others.
