BEAUTIFUL GIRLS

In 1996, Beautiful Girls was released. It is a movie about life. The movie has an all-star cast including: Timothy Hutton, Matt Dillon, Lauren Holly, Rosie O'Donnell, Uma Thurman and the very talented (and show stealer) Natalie Portman.
The movie surrounds Willie [Timothy Hutton] who plays a talented piano player who returns to his old home town. All of his friends have not changed and you see what happens when you throw new people into the mix. This movie is highly entertaining with some very well done scenes.
The image is much better than the VHS standard, but not to the highest of quality that can be seen on other DVDs. The movie is in letterbox [1.85:1] format. The audio is Dolby surround, which does quite well for this mostly dialogue-only movie.
This movie is recommend for everyone, however the DVD should be reserved for rental or for fans who love it.
The movie is rated R and runs 113 minutes. There are no extras except chapter selection.
