DEEP IMPACT

The story line of this movie was a great one. You take a comet that is heading for Earth and see what a handful of people do under the circumstances. This movie was released around the same time as it's sister film “Armageddon”. The two movies have often been compared, but they are really 2 different movies even though they have the same type of theme. Deep Impact is a visually stunning, heart-felt movie. This DVD is a hot one. Paramount did a fine job with this movie. The audio is fantastic in DD 5.1 and the video quality was excellent. The movie is presented in letterbox format. Two trailers are included. Remember, choose 5.1 from the main menu - the audio change button on your remote won't work. Very recommended.
