RED DAWN

A classic 80's hit movie that surrounds a team of teens during WWIII. Russians and Cubans have invaded the US and these teens band together to save themselves and others from total destruction. This movie burned images in the minds of viewers back in the 80s and still does so today thanks to this DVD version. The VHS version is grainy - it seems either the film was made that way in the first place or the original negatives just wore out. Same goes for the DVD version, but it does show signs of improvement over the VHS. The sound is only 2 channel and really deserved a newer 5.1 mix, but nothing is perfect. The sound is good and does better than VHS, but you might be disappointed overall. DVD is capable of so much more. However, if you do love this movie, get it.
