Sex, heroine, scottish, and more! This movie has it all. Hard to understand at times due to the thick scottish dialogue - thank goodness this DVD comes withcaptions! This movie is disturbing by every means, but is visually and mentally stimulating all the way through! The sound and picture quality are very well done. The Canadian release (region 1) included a discussion with the producer and director that includes many deleted scenes. This feature was not put on the american release.
